The first part of my life's work is almost finished. My three sons are on the edge of real life. They were able to explore the world during their youth. Respect, a positive attitude, gratitude are values that we have passed on to them. With an open mind, they are ready to build their own story. We also share the same passion: 'How can we give our lives a positive twist with new innovative technology?' I hope they can take my experience with them on their way.

My story started in 1969. Scouts, music, sports were part of my carefree childhood. In 1993 I stood on the threshold of that real life. I had just completed my studies as a commercial engineer. Production and logistics was my specialization. Fast forward to today. Thirty years later, I work for the University of Antwerp, and I have my own 'innovation agency'. As key question: How can we create sustainable value with multi-disciplinary innovation? We combine experience and expertise from different domains and sectors to find the answer. It is a temporary capstone in my professional career. A combination of all the experience I have gained in a management role or as a consultant at small and large companies, in the technology and healthcare sector, at knowledge institutions and business networks, in Flanders and internationally.

Hi,

Starting my career as an engineer feeds my passion for finding solutions to our daily challenges even further. Through DC Ventures we are building an open ecosystem where new ideas can be explored, shared and discussed. Within this network, building, validating and rebuilding is key.

What if the next big thing does not have to come from one genius in a garage?

What if this can come from a whole community working together?

Felix
